Thank you very much! I will do so. I need to update it, but I have been super busy this month (although not too busy to come on PA and annoy people.)

To be honest, I think that the four-dimensional hypercube people enjoy prog the most.

A Prog fan.

In all seriousness though, I do think less people dance to prog, and prog fans are perhaps more inclined to be musicians. Of course, this is just mostly speculation!

Slight thread diversion hereSmile
I remember reading an article in a newspaper several years ago where the author (who was a jazz musician) stated that the people who liked opera were not musicians. Real musicians hated it, he said.
Rusted and ropy.
Dog-eared old copy.
Vintage and classic,
or just plain Jurassic:
all words to describe me.

Everyone should hate opera, regardless of whether they're musicians or not.

Most of the guys I know who choose to listen to only the heinously weird, atonal, free-form, balloon animal strangling extremes of modern jazz Dead have never gone near a musical instrument in their lives. Why this should be so has always remained a mystery to me. So No, you don't have to be a musician to appreciate progressive music.

I was answering one of the options in the first post. I don't know what he meant by Flat people. But me using that as an answer is amusing. Not for some it seems.

You can't please everyone.Wink

I second that and will render that through extensive road travel during the 70's and 80's, they were scattered like huge amounts of jellyfish that wash to shore and slowly die on land. They come across like musicians but with half-cocked theory. Musicians are guilty of this too however, performing for an audience of judges with a Wes Montgomery piece and they are already making you feel like crap even before your entry to the stage. An example would be back in the early 90's when Charles Barkley got up in Michael Jordon's face before a game telling him to go F his mother. It's a maco mentality from an abundance of society that is roled played and perpetuated to destroy the musican or athlete's  performance. By employing such acts, the musician or athlete is affected psychologically and most likely will give a bad performance that night. Most musicians are artistic and sensitive so they have to work twice as hard to battle this nightmare.

If you read the first post, by "flat people" he is trying to say people who don't get high. I could have introduced that term to my high school and it would have stuck I betchya.
