Yes i am going to buy it my eyes close. There's another DVD of Yes out early this year that is a rare item. It's the only officiale release of the Talk tour in chilie. But i was disappointed of the picture quality who looks like a old 80's concerts broadcast. It's not on PA??? |

Let's hope they have done their best in re-mastering the sound and restoring the pictures, etc. Today's technology can do wonders to old recordings. I have never seen the VHS video as it is very rare and this re-release will make it available for a much broader audience. |

In terms of picture and sound quality, it looks better than the one in Chile. It's just the camera angles that bug me. |

Ok, not much they can do about that unless they have all the original angles on separate tapes. With eight people on stage I guess that there was a lot going on and a multiple angles-option would be nice How does it compare to the previous Voice-print DVD release of the Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe concert? I liked that one, I have the limited edition with In The Big Dream as a bonus disc |

The camera seems to be closer to the stage compare to the ABWH DVD and the picture quality looks better. We will see when we can see the whole DVD. |

Will buy DVD been waiting for it---like ABWH Union songs---hate the Yes west stuff---more overblown insipid pop which does not make for good prog---(I deleted the Yes west songs on my i-pod) but the concert was exciting to see even though I find Rabin's playing to be uninventive and typical rock playing---long live guitar god Steve Howe! And no matter what they say--during the concert they looked like they couldn't stand one another.

Steve Howe couldn't stand any other guitarist that may have stolen his thunder. He forced Peter Banks out of a reunion gig once, too. I think he's lightened up a lot in recent years, though.

Very interesting ! The only Yes DVD I own is Live at Montreux 2003, very good.
For me, Union is a stuck, but it contains very good songs, for example Silent Talking or I Would Have Waited Forever. Don't you think ?

Yes Union as some good songs, but they are not on the Union DVD wich i have watched painfully and stopped before the end. It's so dark! |

I have a Union Tour bootleg DVD. The problem is that Wakeman's solo on "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" is inaudible.
That solo is practically the reason I bought that DVD.

Bruford's remembrance of the Union tour,
As if sleep-walking, Bill is astonished to find he has re-joined the Yes behemoth, with 8 musicians - the entire cast of “Dallas” re-united. It is ghastly, macabre, and over-blown, but also un-missable. At Madison Square Gardens on 15 June '91, the world’s most expensive drum-kit, $40,000 worth of two Simmons SDX units in tandem, stalls completely, and Bill performs a humiliating drum “duet” on acoustic hi-hat, snare, and cymbal opposite the thundering Alan White. After four months, it’s too much. The tour was presumably in support of some album or another, but it’s not one that Bill ever played again, once recorded. |

Keys to Ascension and Yes Symphonic are also excellent DVD's you shouldn't overlook. |

If I'm not mistaken, Bill has said compromising things about Yes on numerous occasions. In his own opinion, he never really fitted into the band in the first place. Bill is more of a Jazz drummer while Alan is more of a Rock drummer. I do not see how it would be "humiliating" for anyone to play with Alan White. If Bill actually said that, it's some insult! I personally prefer Alan and consider the latter to be the Yes drummer. It will be interesting to see them together though. |
