It's Hemispheres for me but you can't pick a wrong one between
Farewell to Kings
Hemispheres
2112
Moving Pictures
and heck even Permanent Waves (Which would probably be my favorite if it weren't for Jacob's Ladder taking up such a big part of the relatively short album.)

Oh yes!
Though some are admittedly easier to get through than others.
I would just about guarantee that Reedy has heard it all as well as Cygnus X-2, Snow Dog, and just about anyone else with a Rush reference in their nick.
We Rush fans are a truly FANATIC bunch.

Of course I have listened to all their albums. They each have a certain flare, so I can't really choose one at the moment. My favorite one, being the one that I am listening to the most often right now, is Signals and then Permanent Waves. I regularly listen to at least half of their studio catalog a week multiple times. Why shouldn't I? They are the reason I got into Progressive Rock.
Indeed we are a fanatic bunch, being able to stay with a band that has changed their sound drastically many times over, but most of us can agree that the second phase was the best phase.![](smileys/smiley4.gif)

I love them all...but right now Counterparts has my attention so I voted
for that.
They are all good so I feel bad just picking one.

Counterparts. This album has more power-riffs than a Black Sabbath album. This one rocks!!

I chose Signals (though Hemispheres and Moving Pictures are CLOOOSE behind). Judging from this poll, I believe it to be the most UNDERRATED Rush album ever! ![](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif)
The first 4 songs are some of the best songs EVER, not just by Rush and the rest of the album is top notch. No weak tracks at all.

I agree, although I picked A Farewell To Kings. If you read my review of Signals, you'll see it is one of my all-time favorite albums, with Geddy's best bass playing ever.

It's hard to choose only one album, but I voted for 'A Farewell To Kings' ('Cygnus X-1' is one of their best tracks)... There were only very good albums between 1976 and 1982 ('2112', 'A Farewell To Kings', 'Hemispheres', 'Permanent Waves', 'Moving Pictures' and 'Signals'... Yes, I love all those albums...

2112. Hemispheres is so
close though. I haven't really gotten into A Farewell to Kings
and Moving Pictures as most people seem to have. Maybe with
a little more time.
