My vote goes to Mr Roboto...

Also on the cheese list:
  1. Triumvirat - The Hazy Shades of Dawn (the epitome of corniness)
  2. ELP - Hoedown (almost any classical conversion is bound to sound a little cheesy)
  3. Pink Floyd - the Dogs of War
  4. Grobschnitt - Anywhere
  5. Rush - The Trees & I think I'm Going Bald <-
  6. Marillion - Kayleigh & Incommunicado

"Progressive.... yeah, that's it..."

Hmm its kind of hard to explain.. it could be easily substituted with "Gay" in a vulgar sense (not that theres anything wrong with that!)

I dunno if that helps but its the best I can do.. i guess?

I don't find Spartacus cheesy. I like the album a lot. Lots of people knock it for being cheesy, but I just can't see that.

Me I can, really...totally annoying and cheesy. Many people don't like prog and think it's "too many". I think it's because they listen to Triumvirat. Really, when I want to introduce someone to prog, I many cds, but especially not this one...but if you enjoy it, that's fine, I just can't stand with this clone of trilogy by ELP !

"Jump is a brilliant pop song!"

It's not an awful song, but the words "pop" and "brilliant" should never be used in the same sentence.

I correct myself, Mr Robotto gets the prize, what a piece of crap, and if anyone here has seen the video Caught in the Act from The Kilroy Was here tour, must have been tortured by that cheesy 30 minutes film about Mr Robotto where all the rockers are jailed and have to eat Kentucky Fried Chicken.

That was a torture.

'The Circus of Heaven' by Yes makes my skin crawl. I have never been able to work out whether or not they were taking the p!ss with that track..

Off that list, Genesis & Rush are far from cheesy IMO  Both great songs! Styx on the other hand..

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I know what you mean, Met - I love the 'Snow' album, but if playing it to someone for the first time, I do have to create a distraction while I run to the CD player to skip "The Devil's Got My Throat" - great keyboard & guitar work, but the chorus....

I think MOST of Dream Theater's output, mostly the guitar work. Not
saying I don't like it.

Most of 90125 and ALL of Big Generator.=

My choice and feeligns as well! Except tht I don't agree it ruins the album. I just pretend it is not there (skip button rules).
