My goodness what is happening to this forum. I've stopped coming on here so much that it's rare I'm on more than once a week, considering I used to be on a few times a day when I had the chance. The problem is too many brainless threads like this and I'm sure because of this I've noticed a lack of participation with some of the older more experienced members as well and it's a damn shame.

Even as older people drop off, newer people come on and wish to discuss topics that are old hat to others. Let's let them have their fun, just like we did.

I'm out of the forum for a while and back today... and my first visit I discover people still complain about topics.. let us create what we wish... this is a democratic forum or not?
My Top Ten List: Grobschnitt Genesis P.F.M Banco del Mutuo Soccorso Pink Floyd Le Orme Eloy Camel Samla Mammas Manna Gentle Giant
PS. Jethro Tull, Magma, Acid Mothers Temple... could also be part of the list.

![LOL](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif) that was great...but don't rag on AC/DC, just because they're not prog doesn't mean that they're not good...if you haven't already listen to powerage and I can assure you that you'll get hooked.

Jesus christ, the only thing less original than posting a "favourite prog bands"-thread is whining about it. You only bump it by doing so anyway. It's not that i don't agree, but what are you gonna do about it? Kill him?

Possibly![Wink](smileys/smiley2.gif)
But being serious, I'm glad it gets bumped that's kind of why I did it, so some admin could possibly see it and start doing something about terrible threads like this.
|
I've seen lots of threads stickied to the top of sections so one would think if that is what they wanted done with common topics, that is what they would do. But they don't, so, as others have mentioned, they probably want newcomers to feel welcome to revisit these topics.
