Enjoyed them much more than on the R30 Tour. Don't know why, perhaps that set tried to accomplish too much but this one seemed more balanced. Of course there were a dozen songs I would have loved to have heard but overasll I thought it was killer - and the band looked much more alive and enthusiastic than they did when they hit the UK on the R30 leg last tijme out. In fact they all looked loike they were really enjoying themselves, especiallyt when the audience sang along with almost all of Spirit of Radio and did its best to match the Brazil crowd in singing along with YYZ.
Funny seyt in that it concnetrated really heavily on mid-period Rush with four tracks from Permanent Waves, three from Moving Pictures, two from Signals, a couple of from Grace Under Pressure and Mission from Hold Your Fire (which was awesome, so miuch better than the bombastic yet still reed thin 80s production on record). But as this is my favourite period (Permanent to Signals) then I wasn't complaining.
The Snakes and Arrows stuff slotted in seamlessly tolo.
All in all a belter.
