Pena is Crazy! That freaked me out when I heard that the first time. Another great track is Ella Guru. If you like Pena you will probably like the entire album. And I want to walk down the Wedding Aisle to Hair Pie Bake 1

I think Joren was going to do the bio. I think he knows more. But if he doesn't do it I'll definitely do it!

well Zappa produced it, which is another reason for it being so awesome. I love the lyrics to track two. They are so funny!

and if you like strange music like this you should DEFINITELY check out Mr.Bungle, Fantomas (I'm sure by now you've heard of them) and almost any other Mike Patton project

who are fantomas?
yah i remember stumbling across mr bungle on here and i thought whoa! mike patton went prog. he is in faith no more and the dillinger escape plan rite? i will check em out one day, as for now im excited about frank and beefheart.
have you heard piper at the gates of dawn or ummagumma by pink floyd? that is insane as you can get, the first with syd barrett, writing about gnomes, bikes, scarecrows and a cat called lucifer sam.
ummagumma has many crazy instrumentals, grantchester meadows has roger waters doing a gentle acosutic with birds humming in the background and a crazy man trying to swat a fly.
the craziest tracks are careful with that axe eugene, roger screaming like a woman over a mental jam and "several speices of small furry animals gethered together in a cave and grooving with a pict" which has a crazy scottish commentator, alien jibberish and apparently lots of slang for sex (ummagumma is cambridge slang for sex apparently)
i suggest you check em out for complete weirness. also there is the track "saucerful fo secrets" on ummagumma which sounds like a musical representation of a ufo landing!

I haven't heard Umma Gumma but I love the Piper at the Gates of Dawn. I really love Bike! (Though it's not the best on the album)

FNM and DEP are hardly the best representations of Mike Patton's genius. That man is seriously out there, and for that I love him. Fantomas and Mr. Bungle are both crazy, and his solo stuff is some of the most experimental "music" I've ever heard. I put the term music in brackets because they're really just him making sounds with his voice. His work with John Zorn is also pretty intense (a little TOO weird for me though).
