Flower Kings: The Truth Will Set You Free, 31:01
I also have 6DoIT (mandatory if you would ever call yourself a DT fan), but I'm not going to count it, as it's broken into eight sections. |

Not considering songs cuted in parts (for lp's) i would say:
Allmann brothers - mountain jam ( live at ludlow garage) = ~ 40 min Deep purple - wring that neck (Scandinavian nights) = ~ 30 min Grobschnitt - Symphony ( bonus track of grobschnit-grobschnitt album) = ~29 min etc |

I'm not obsessed. But, in his case, lenght is a main character and one of universal elaboration. So it's a keen thing to stand for. |

That is insanity!
Wow I thought Jerusalem was the longest. Sadly mistaken
I'll have to go and listen to that 420:00 one. See if i can stand to listen to it straight. That's like seven hours.

Arguing with anonymous strangers on the internet is a sucker's game because they almost always turn out to be or seem to be self-righteous sixteen-year-olds possessing infinite amounts of free
time. |

Exactly how does anyone make a 7 hour album. I dont have the really long epics on my MP3 player. I find that when I'm on the go I prefer the songs to be under 15 minutes. Though I do prefer songs to last longer han 6. |

The 3 long ones in my MP3 player are 10-minute-something classics:
Steve Hackett's "Shadow of the Hierophant"; King Crimson's "Larks Tongues Pt. 2" and Genesis "One for the Vine."
Yes -- the group Yes -- has no place there.
