You forgot an important one:

Tool fans are not allowed to have a sense of humor.  (Despite the fact that Maynard clearly does.)  Wink

Really, don't you find Tool a bit slow? They could do with being more uptempo.

The ones on the list are all funny, but yours has nothing to do with Tool.

I think many people hate Tool because they think they get too much attention.

He's saying that he thinks that the reason many people hate Tool is because of how much focus in the media Tool gets.Wink

But isn't it kind of stupid to hate a band just because it gets attention?

If you hate Tool, you hate the attention they get, but you primarily hate the music. If you like tool, you like the fact that they get attention.

Don't know much about Tool so I can comment positively or negatively about their material, but I do think their name invites some great ideas for song & album titles. So, to lighten some of the tension (hey, I'm a Uniter not a Divider), how about these:

 - I've got my sawhorse, where's yours?
 - Let's get hammered
 - You chiselled me out of money
 - What a Tool!
 - Tools for Fools (play on Tears for Fears)
 - The Drill Instructor
 - You got screwed!
 - Nail it
 - Drill Press of Love
 - Fixer-Upper
