Its very hard to find some prog in the radio here (well, I dont listen to much radio, only 2 or 3 times per week), but there's some stations that play prog sometimes.

There's a radio show here in my city that play prog and indie (and sometimes jazz and blues):

There isn't a prog channel here in Puerto Rico, but there's a channel where they play a lot of metal at nights and my friends said that  they've heard  Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation and some others but I don't really listen to it unless I'm in a car and don't have any good cds.

That looked promising - I saw DT and Rush and Mostly Autumn on the playlist.  Unfortunately I don't speak/read Spanish so I couldn't figure too much of it out...

Kinda. They play "popular" prog (ie Yes, Pink Floyd, Rush, JT, etc). And i guess you could say they play it semi-often.

Not really. It doesn't matter though because the only time I listen to the radio is in the car, and then it's almost always the Classical station. My classic rock station does occasionally play some Floyd, but only ABITW pt 2, CN, Money, Brain Damage/Eclipse, Time, Us and Them, Hey You, and Young Lust. I have heard Learning to Fly and Dogs of War, but that's not especially prog Floyd :)

Yeah, I saw that.  The Podcast is in English too.  This is actually a pretty cool site.

As usual, the mostly popular often barely-prog stuff. It's not all bad though, I did discover Yes (via Roundabout) through it, partially leading to me finding this site.

I think no one even knows what is prog in Finland (well no one from the radio stations).

You're ruining my image of Finland.

So many great bands come from your country, surely someone must know prog.

Here in St.-Petersburg we have a great radio called Radio Roks (www.roks.ru), which plays prog/art/jazz rock two or three times in a week (nowadays I rarely listen to radio, so don't remember correct) after midnight.

The only prog I have heard in the radio in Spain is some Pink Floyd and "Owner of a lonely heart" by Yes. The rest simply doesn't exists for the radio. They only play pop hits. Even the stations that are proud of playing music form the 70's only play pop hits from the 70's. The radio sucks in Spain.

They don't play much in sweden, but there's one show called "feedback", a metal show, they play the occasional Opeth or Dream Theater song, and there's also a show that plays live concerts, they had two with early Floyd last year, that's about it though...

We have 5 local radio stations here, Eins Live (formerly WDR 1) and WDR 2 to 5. Of these only WDR 3 and WDR 5 (to a lesser extent) are worth listening too. WDR 3 lately changed the program scheme a little (to the better, I think), and instead of only playing classical, jazz, ethnic music and modern avantgarde (mostly classical, some jazz, ethnic and modern avantgarde in the evening) they now play some prog too, usually during "Resonanzen", a program that offers news about cultural events like new movies, new stage productions (ballett, theatre or opera), new albums and the likes. This program is broadcast from 5:05 pm to 7:45 pm Mo-Fr. And then there is "Musikpassagen", which runs Mo-Fr from 3:05 PM 5:00 PM, a program that deals with some kind of "theme" daily. That "theme" can be anything from an organ of perception like eye or ear (they will play music then that in some way relates to these organs; for example, it would not be impossible a song like "Cat's Eye / Yellow Fever (Running)" by VdG would be played in a program relating to the eye) or a certain composer (there may be music of that composer then as well as of composers related to him too) or a special movie like "Casablanca" or whatever you can think of. You really need open ears to listen to "Musikpassagen"; our favourite program.
