On the contrary, Mike Portnoy is one of the nicest guys you can meet.  Roine Stolt has said that Portnoy would never say a bad word about anyone. 

Perhaps now (meaning before this incident) but I'd have watched what I said to him in the late 80s/early 90s. I might get the sh*t kicked out of me by a metal drummer in a drunken stupor!

Portnoy is of course justified! He's a nice guy, but then again Tate is an egoistic bitch anyways. So why say the obvious?

I have a gut feeling that their tiff maybe isnīt even related to music at all. Maybe it is political differences.
