Harmonium (thanks for the pointer Trotzky!), but I agree on the Pollen remarks.

No Maneige,uh!!

I wanted to go for Sloche or Opus -5 (which you forgot), but went for Harmonium

keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer

Neo prog is not forbidden.Saga and Hamadryad could be considered neo.

Of course with that kind of poll many acts can be left out;Maneige,Opus 5,Sense,Red Sand,Dagmar,EreG,ect...I only had 25 choices.

Sorry if anyone's favorite band is not on the list.

Is it so hard to click the band we think is best?

Unless none of these are good enough?????

Some of us may be checking in to see how our favorite band is doing, hence the #s.We can only vote once I believe.?

Seeing as Rush are the best Prog Band ever the "Canadian" bit is redundant...

Voted for RUSH. The period from 2112 to Moving Pictures is simply outstanding. But I feel they're one of only a handful of bands who have 'staying power' and consistently churn out inciteful, innovative music year after year (KC and J Tull also come to mind...)

GYBE!, Harmonium are excellent in their own right, but don't quite reach RUSH's stratospheric level of critical AND commercial success. Pollen and Klaatu get honourable mentions.
Marmalade...I like marmalade.

As the poll suggests, Rush is the Canadian prog band.  Maybe the Canadian band.

Your fondness for the band is no reason to vote over 20 times for Rush Tony ... obviously Harmonium is the most popular choice here

almost the silliest poll ever, like saying "what direction is the sky? - up or down?"

RUSH

period.

Very few bands are in their category, err.. Genesis, Floyd, Yes....

Rush are not only the greatest band from Canada, but they are one of the most influential and solid bands in the history of rock music.
