As to the aforementioned Phil Collins - say what you will.

Listen to Take Me Home - its a beautiful song.

David - Never doubt in the dark that which you believe to be true in the light.

I'd have to go with Peter Hammill; he made about 40 solo albums, some weaker, some stronger, but there is not a single one among them I don't like. The level of quality he maintained throughout the years is breathtaking. And his live performances are out of this world, especially solo.

I'm going to side with the incomporable Adrian Belew, who took all of his influences and created stellar solo albums (although they were all fairly short albums).

Peter gabriel, Adrian Belew, and Bill Bruford's solo projects are interesting.

I prefer Gabriel, his music, for me, is very touching, and full of feeling. He's a fantastic songwriter.

Steve Hackett by far, he has only one weak album, all the rest are outstandong.

Wakeman has more or less 130 releases (Including at least 20 live albums where he plays the same exact tracks), videos and DVD's, it's so prolific that he uses the same art cover for two different albums in some cases.

More or less 100 albums.

I doubt more than 5 are excellent, more than another 5 really good and 5 more acceptable, the rest is just a bunch of compilations, live albums and a lot of New Age like stuff.

15% is not solid, despite that, most of his first albums were masterpieces or close to that status.

Iván

Robert Fripp !!

A very few people know all the work from this guy. King Crimson is not a band, this is the solo career of Fripp with good musicians.

Robert Fripp !!
