2. Close To The Edge
3. Thick As A Brick
4. Dark Side of the Moon

I haven't heard SEBTP in its entirity yet, but of the songs I have heard from the album, I'd say it would most likely fall in between Thick As A Brick and Dark Side of the Moon.

Thick as a Brick is the best there, in my opinion, then CTTE.

Despite my love for Genesis I have to vote in this order:

  1. Dark Side of the Moon/Wish You Were Here
  2. Thick as a Brick
  3. Close to the Edge
  4. Sellling England by the Pound

SEBTP is my least favorite Gabriel era album, still good, but inferior to all the rest IMHO.

From this list it would be Selling England, which is in my top 10 of best cd's. Dark Side would be a candidate too.

The others have a lot of good musical moments too, but are not in my top 10.

CTTE, with SEBTP coming 2nd...
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I could not agree more. Darkside and Wish you were here are my least
favorite pink floyd albums. Boring. I am kind of tired of close to the edge.
Thick as a brick is a great album. But I have to vote for selling england, even
though I think Foxtrot is their best album. Selling England has to many
weak spots.
