   I think it would be between Don Van Vliet, Gabriel, Hammil, Zappa and Ian Anderson.

I'll go for Don Van Vliet as no one else has  truly memorizing performer.

I suppose an honorable mention should go to Fish as well (4/5ths Gabriel 1/5th Hammill)
