I've just taken a look at your poll and seen you have 24 elemental songs right there, although I can't say I'm familiar with any of them, so I'd probably have to go with "Your Choice Sherlock". Embarrassed

Wonderful! And that's 48 points for Scott! And some other good suggestions in that thread. I suppose you do the accounts, Paul? Tongue

Yes, that should keep me busy for awhile, adding all of Scott's 24 songs onto the list, and I have another one to add too:-

Camel - Neon Magic

As Paul seems to mean it, I think we others better give him a break for awhile. Smile

That sounds like a good nickname for a snooker player, like Alex "Hurricane" Higgins, or Jimmy "Whirlwind" White, or even Steve "Interesting" Davis. Tongue

That's a good layout, Progaardvark, as it make it easy for Paul to copy and paste in the table - which I didn't think about before. Thumbs Up

I also have one contribution from my own goofy project:
Superluminal Pachyderm - Photographs of Oxygen - http://www.progarchives.com/album.asp?id=70225

Plus a couple that don't actually literally use the element's name as a single word:
Superluminal Pachyderm - Dezincification
Superluminal Pachyderm - Of the Ferric Oxides in the Old Toilets

The latter using the adjective ferric for iron.

It's strange that no prog group has made a concept album of all 92 elements (at least as far as my meager searching skills have uncovered). Surely seems like a fitting project suitable for the electronic prog subgenre.

While I'm already very suprised that so many of these elements have been used in song titles - I didn't expect that.

But here from an album where all the tracks (6) have the titles of the elements:
O Yuki Conjugate - Sulphur
O Yuki Conjugate - Carbon
O Yuki Conjugate - Polonium
O Yuki Conjugate - Bismuth

all on the album Sunchemical (1996), and the two tracks I haven't listed are none of the 92 elements.
