Jerry Goldsmith is not enough mentioned on this site, often unmentioned, but as important as Williams, Morricone, Horner and Shore.

That's just here. In film music circles, Goldsmith holds god status.

While we're at it, here's my favorite Goldsmith score. I defy anyone to listen and depart unaffected!

Note: If you respond back and I don't respond back to that, it's just that I will be off-site for some time to catch op on things with less distraction. Once I get posting, I often spend too long at it. Self-control is not one of my better virtues, , and too often I use posting as a tool for procrastination and as a distraction technique.
