Hi Paul - lots of great bands on your list and many more I really want to check out. But there’s one more band I like that I didn’t see on your list - Green Milk From the Planet Orange. This is one of their epic psych tracks performed live.

OSAMU KITAJIMA - These exotic albums from Osamu Kitajima are more akin to World Music than Psychedelic Rock, but I couldn't possibly consider leaving them out of this A-Z Guide, as they're just too good to miss.

Not very familiar with Japanese Psych (I know only the Mops, they´re in Nuggets II-compilation), but really love this band:

I had a listen to Geinoh Yamashirogumi today but they don't sound very psychedelic to me.. They sound more like Mike Oldfield in a Japanese tea house. You're more than welcome to post some or all of Geinoh Yamashirogumi's full albums here though, if you want to, and then I'll have a listen to them. I've just taken a look at YouTube and there are several of their full albums available at the moment. Edited by Psychedelic Paul - June 24 2020 at 13:08 |

SHINKI CHEN & FRIENDS - Shinki Chen (1971)
SPEED, GLUE & SHINKI - Eve (1971) SPEED, GLUE & SHINKI - Speed, Glue & Shinki (1972) These two far-out albums are probably the most psychedelic of all the albums posted so far. I think the picture on the first album cover says it all really.

Did you listen to Osorezan from 1976? If so I won't bother posting it. Yeah, it's a bit strange and maybe not typical psych(or prog)but I think it's worth checking into regardless.

^^ I only listened to a small sample from each Gheino Yamashirogumi album, just to get a feel for the music and you're very welcome to post their albums here if you want to. As you say, their albums are strange and far out even by the stoned-out standards of Psychedelic Rock. I may grow to like them though if you post their full albums here and I listen to them all the way through.
