I think you want something catchy melodic beautiful... Try Gerard Manset's L'Oisseau De Paradis. He's a famous musician from France.

Not prog at all, but if you're looking for something with mojo, then look no further! Thumbs Up

On a more serious note, maybe ELP's Great Gates of Kiev from Pictures At An Exhibition if you're looking for something with a sort of "bridal march" tempo but some symphonic pizzazz.

My wife and I entranced and exited our wedding ceremony to 'Theme one' by Van der graaf generator and also we used 'Joybringer' by Manfred Mann's Earthband.. Also we had the Who's 'Red, blue and grey' as its such a great heartfelt little song..

I do like the Camel song off of Breathless too...

I don't think I picked out the song for the entry.
I did put together a CD for the after party.  Unfortunately it's been lost and I can't find the playlist.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Curious, Herr Mannelig, a song about a troll woman falling in love with a hero... and the bride is the one that chose it. I love that Haggard song / version (though I don't know many other versions anyway)... however, it has always puzzled me... and up to a point even bothered me, that they recorded it in italian. The original should be old scandinavian... so it would make sense to use the old lyrics or swedish (or some other scandinavian language, I don't know which one would be the most adequate), or else sing it in english, since it's the most marketable language nowdays, or else sing it in german, since Haggard is from Germany. But italian? Why?

she loves the feel in it, only the first two minutes will be played and Turkish folk won't care about it's story :)

Too late already, but perhaps Shceherazade (by Renaissance) would have worked fine too then. And the story is about a wedding too

Hi,

Another option ... Brainticket's Cottonwood Hill!

Orgasmic or Orgiastic ... certainly to make a white wedding interesting! AND loud!
