With Michigan and Michigan State both losing in the 1st round, my interest in the tournament dried up pretty quickly.  I've no idea who still stands.  Cry

^ Ahh...the advantages of not caring about regional sports teams. Big smile

(Or the advantages of having local college bball suck)

Bracket pretty much busted since I had Kansas winning it. Syracuse pulled the surprise, their full court press in the second half allowed the comeback plus Va did not look good at the end.

NC should advance but you never know. At this point would like to see Syracuse win it or anyone but NC.

I love how all these teams have predominantly black teams but universally white cheerleaders.

LOL Bad Micky has about 20 witticisms lined up in regards to that observation... and all 20 would get his ass banned.

So...

Amazing game, a classic!  After the boring Saturday night games (except for Mickey and the OU game LOL), this game made up for it.

Was pulling for Villanova as I remember the game 31 years ago when they last won it with ol Rollie as the coach.  Lived in Baltimore then and Georgetown was always on TV in that area and the Big East was a Beast then.

Sorry tobacco road....Evil Smile

I went to Villanova so I feel comfortable taking all the credit for this win.

Was at the Steve Hackett show in Boulder on the night of the final....during the intermission I stepped out to the lobby bar and noticed that a good chunk of the audience had left the show and were glued to the TV set.  There were 25 seconds left in the game and.....well, we know the rest of the story.  Great ending.....then the second Hackett set.  Excitement overload.....whadda night!
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
