Kraftwerk got their whole sound from The Beatles.

No Beatles = No Kraftwerk

I was being completely facetious 'cause Alex hates The Beatles and thinks they couldn't/can't play their instruments had/have no talent whatsoever.

That's why The White Album, Sergeant Pepper and well... all their albums have outsold almost everything else.

Not that I'm saying I love The Beatles.  I'm not the biggest fan and don't own any of their albums but they had some epic tunes and I can appreciate them and realise how important they were to the history of music.  I also am aware that they could compose and play their instruments pretty well (especially by the late 1960s).

I have. Wink

Stop getting so defensive.

I've said what I wanted to say.  I wasn't going to elaborate any further.

One day though, you'll realise you're wrong. Wink

The Fall Of Troy seem to have taken over this year, while Mars Volta did OctahedronExclamation

Too going into metal anyway, so I gave up on listening.

I have not heard TFOT, I guess I should do that.

Octahedron has steadily grown on me; it's a solid album. Still nowhere near my top 2 or 3 by them, but a very good album if you pretty much treat it with a completely different mindset.
