Ha yeah, lucked out big time. Some people who used to be there mentioned it to my mother and yeah thats how it started. And yes, the timing is quite welcome. I joke about my CD addiction but honestly, the money is really needed for my family so I'm very happy.

Oh I got the job LOL Interviewed a while ago, and they called today with an offer.
Thought about rejecting to be avant like that, but probably would've been dumb...

Congrats, JJ. It is a job in your field?

Do you even have a field yet? Embarrassed

So I just saw the Expendables.  I'm not sure if it was supposed to be a straight comedy, but it seemed like one. Funny movie.

Their worst... I'd only give it ***, too.

I got it free, so it's all I've heard from them.  Tongue

Seems like they set up a bandcamp where they offer for free download their (IMO) best album, Different Parties: http://kumm.bandcamp.com/album/different-parties

I'd be curious what you guys think of it. It's classic alternative rock (just so you know).

The other album they have there is the latest, which I wouldn't recommend unless you like indie-pop/rock. They're still struggling to find their identity in that style.

Thats why I ditched the club scene for the bar scene Cool

Met the most recent men in my life round the interweb too.

Bar, club, the internet, friend's house... in the end, it's all about timing, doesn't matter where you are.

Well, it's a social networking thing, I guess. Good way to discover new bands, I find.

And speaking of meeting people in the web, I met my Mr.FirmTush because of last.fm.
