Getting the impression this is the kind of album that needs several attentive listens to really understand, because how much there's going on at once in their music. Still, I'm grateful that groups like Vektor exist and are getting attention, because they're a very ambitious and inventive project who got big in the middle of when the metal subculture were in full "everything as retro as possible all the time" mode.
