I used to be quite the Metalhead back in the day.  Not a day would pass without the spin of a Metallica or Megadeth CD.  I rarely listen to either anymore, but once in awhile.  Listening to this one now:

After this though, I am going to have to switch gears to Discipline and Matthew Parmenter to "prepare" for the gig tonight.Smile

You seem to have some sort of Beatle infestation happening down there Antoine.  You might need to spin some Aardvark or Pelican in order to take care of that.

I'm in such a Everything-with-Ronnie-james-Dio mood!
He's one of , if not the best singer in hard rock/metal! Clap

There was once a time when Dio was my favorite metal singer.  This is probably 15 or 20 years ago, but I was talking to a guy at the CD store about how much I liked Dio.  The next time I came in he gave me cassette copies of Dio's 1st band Elf.  He does have a tremendous voice.  I saw him live in 1990 on the Lock Up the Wolves tour.  Yngwie Malmsteen was the opening act; I kind of felt bad for Dio's guitarist.  Yngwie was kind of a hard act to follow as far as guitar solos go.  Jens Johannson was Dio's keyboardist however, and he was quite awesome.

I think he was best in Rainbow. Then Black Sabbath, Then his own band, Dio.
It's amazing how he did 3 classic albums with 3 diffrent bands! "Rising" by Rainbow, "Heaven and Hell" by Black Sabbath & "Holy Diver" by Dio!

Clappies! Clap
