You heard Stravinsky in a mall? Odd. I never hear music at the malls I go to, though I don't go often.

The only music I hear at the malls is often the crappy pop music in the "we have more movies and games than music" record stores..
|
I never go to those stores. I buy my music online. The only times I go to the mall are to buy a book or clothes that I need, but not just to browse. It is convenient to have a large mall walking distance from one's house though.
|
I rarely find something good at those record stores, though I have done some rare bargains over the years. I mostly buy my RIO obscurities over the net though.
|
Music stores near me sell: rap, pop, country, more pop, more rap, alternative-emo stuff, a few Beatles CD's, Beethoven's greatest hits, and Kenny G.

I never listen to music with the lights off. What is the overall effect?

The only music stores I go to are small stores that sell rare and vintage stuff.

Well, I do live in the second largest city in the US. Chances are there will be a specialty shop in the more artsy parts.

oh im completely the opposite here. numbers are cold, set, finite things with one meaning and one possible interpretation. you have THREE of something. thats it. the appeal of numbers to me is the simplification of things, the making of things constant and all that. like formulas and laws, physics. Words though hold so much more power. beautiful. what does that mean? it could mean an infinite number of different things based on the context and the experiences of the interpreters (readers). what could be more fun than twisting peoples minds around with words, leading ten different people in ten completely different dirrections. i love that. i bet jon anderson has a ball reading peoples different interpretations of his lyrics and what they mean. words are three, four, even 5 dimmensional things.

I was talking about numbers and words from a synaesthetic perspective.

Not bad.
I've been stressed a little and trying to have early nights. I chat on MSN too much... plus I've been out most of the weekend. I was hungover a bit Sunday and I've just not been fully in the mood for P.A for some reason. I've not been in the mood for much though, to be honest.
I have completed some Sudoku puzzles though. Which reminds me, I have one to continue on with!
