I am having trouble with both Tusk and Neurosis.
Tusk- a couple more listens will be a lot better for my opinion, the last song on the album, the 16 minuete long drone on noise song is too weird though.
Neurosis- I gave given to the rising a couple more listens, and hated it. I will try out one more album before dropping them as a whole though.

Yeah, I really like the first couple songs on the Tusk album a lot better than the last two, but the first ones are still really really good.

The singing isnt really... singing.
They sound better than Nuerosis though, so I will probably warm up to them.

Another good band I just found......
Tomydeepestego, fantastic post metal from Rome.Very reminiscent of Pelican,Isis,Cult of Luna,Neurosis(without being derivative).
I am listening to their 2007 release "Odyssea" and it is superb.

Will do! But my problem is that I love the album so much that making a review won't do it justice. That's basically why I haven't made a GYBE review.

Have you listened to Maudlin of the Well? They are the predecessor to Kayo Dot. All three of their albums are must haves if you are a fan of Kayo Dot.
