I guess nobody does that floating paper-clip experiment in Science classes anymore - must be a health and safety isssue (some kid could drink the water and swallow the paper-clip) Sad times we live in.

I knew it was about floating paper clips on water, but the German name for "liquid tension" is "Oberflächenspannung", which literally translates as "surface tension", so I didn't get the name. In fact I just looked up the word "Oberflächenspannung" in a dictionary and came up with "surface tension" again. I drew a blank for "liquid tension" though.
