That's not bad at all, depending of course on how much music you have. If my girlfriend uses our older computer to update her portable player's playlist, adding six-seven albums lasts about twenty minutes. Then again I moved all 130 or so gigabytes of music from the external drive to my Macbook in about an hour. Tongue

Yes but I don't need to overwrite them all.  I just wanted to backup the albums that I've had on C: drive since my last backup (which is quite a few).  Rather than pick them all out, I thought I'd copy and paste the whole lot and say No when it asked if I wanted to Overwrite.  Instead, it gave me one option to Overwrite the folder and I said Yes, so now it's overwriting it all.  I just hope I'm not losing anything.
Oh, that way. It doesn't sound like me you should lose a thing.

Time for the dogs to go out, I forgot to eat my breakfast because I was sitting here all the time. Embarrassed

I need to sleep but I also need to wait for this transfer to finish and that's almost an hour away.  I'll just leave the lid up on my laptop.  I have a download active as well as it happens.

And I'm not sure if BGTutu is working as it should do for me.  I followed the install instructions and the game works but I keep thinking I'm supposed to play it in BG2.  I play BG2 as BG2, there's no option to play the original.  BG plays as BGTutu though, I think.

I'm confused.
This May Be Love

I think you play BG in BG2 through the BGTute exe and BG2 is left alone.

Why does the number of total skill points to be allocated change with each reroll? I added them up about six times and they variated between 72 and 76.

Because it's Dice Rolls.  I believe the skill point allocation depends on your dice rolls as well.  I could put 4 points into Axe, for example.  That means I was pretty hardcore at the beginning.

It took me over an hour to roll my perfect character. LOL

Dice rolls for combat and saving throws is cool, but that's just stupid and terrible design. I shouldn't have to sit there for an hour to get a good roll.

This is dumd, but where is the damn gem in the tutorial? I am tired of looking when I know I'm just missing something stupid and obvious. I assume it's behind that locked door but I don't know how to get there.

Yes, they are.

From a former teacher...that would be a big fat "yes in general."

Kids here are taught to think they are entitled to anything, and that if they fail, it is someone else's fault.

I honestly believe that instead of wasting resources on kids who don't give a sh*t about school and don't show up (or constantly cause trouble), we should cut the cord and let them work for a living- that's what many of them want to do, as it turns out- not go to college.

So who are we to stop them from chasing their dreams? Tongue

Holy cow, that guy with his 'only pre-1989 music is good' is a real bigot... I wonder, does he understand that he's exposing himself to all sorts of ridicule? I like Seventies music as much as anyone here (and I am one of the people who was actually there at the time), but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy anything produced from 1990 onwards.

As I've said before, at any other forum board I go to except this one, Walterdigtunes would have been long since banned. And people wonder why I spent more time at other forum boards now, heh.

Oh hell yeah, a documentary on insomnia tonight. Must watch.

Anyway, I shall vanish from PA for quite a few days, I have finally started to get into the swing of the recording program I got and I'm about to receive a recording interface, so song writing and no posting is the order of the day for the next few days.

You can't ban someone for holding idiotic views, Harry. Don't get me wrong, I'd be tempted to do so, but I don't really think his behaviour is more than simply bigoted and narrow-minded (which amounts to the same thing). On the other hand, you'll be happy to know that I just reported the last post in the 'DT Power Metal?' thread... That guy (no names mentioned) is long overdue a kick in the backside.

LOL He probably thinks the communists sent America the grunge movement to destroy rock music
