when was Azarbajan Europe, then comes the question where do one draw the line to what Europe are, it is okey with Turkey since they share much commen history, but Azarbajan, nothing wrong with the country, but not quite Europe, I even believe Marocco have partisipated once

they did not pass the semi final, I did not really like the song anyway, sort of world music samba type, and supposedly the sound was not okey in Spain and some other countries,
 
and one can also blame that Europeans arent used to Africans, singing a afriacan trad song, she was a norwegian  with  Kenyan decent
