Self-titled release from Texas-based symph-prog band Hands startled me with how awesome it was. Definitely recommend it to everybody here. Utopianisti are an excellent jazz-rock/avant-prog band, I recommend their album The Third Frontier. Sergey Kuryokhin's Sparrow Oratorium album is a fascinating album with modern classical and oratorio influences, but also has a razor-sharp pop sensibility.

I'm actually on PE (under a different user name). I don't pay much attention to Sventonio's posts. He just posts stuff from bandcamp and most of those don't even have an official cd release. I'll look into the other one. Proggnosis is another one. Some of these sites make it difficult to find stuff on them though. Does anyone know of any for just prog reviews(not prog metal just regular prog)?

Look up a youtube poster "Prog Line". He/she posts stuff from the 70's that is at the more obscure end of PA. Even stuff that doesn't exist on PA that has been out of print long enough it would maybe have never again seen the light of day.

OK time to post some more discoveries From US band Meridian Incident, their new album Istology, moody modern prog (just how I like it). In a similar vein, Lo Moon Loveless, reminds me of another artist that was recommended in an earlier post in this thread, T. One of the best prog/post rock instrumental releases I have heard for a while, Chalice Hymnal by the Grails.
