I don't consider most of what's on P.A. prog in it's supposed sense.

I mean a band like Die Knodel, for instance are not prog.

Univers Zéro are not prog.
Alamaailman Vasarat are not prog.
Nucleus are not prog.
Maneige are not prog.
Most Peter Hammill albums are not prog.
Miles Davis is not prog

Henry Cow are prog though.

I'm interested in why you would consider these bands to be 'not prog'.

It makes sense.
Not prog in the traditional sense. A lot of Tech/Extreme metal bands fit that too, since they don't borrow much from old prog.

Damn, you guys listen to so much damn prog.

Other than PT, in the last few days, I've been going back to other stuff.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Wink

I can't stand listening to one genreamabob for so long.
There is only so much proggy stuff I can listen to before I feel like something else.

Yesterday, was some ChopinClap Goddamn that is freaking sweet piano.

Parts of Palepoli are excellent and parts of it really don't do that much for me.  Still, a great album overall.

I haven't listened to any Italian prog in ages, I should rectify that soon.

It seems to be kind of hit and miss.

I don't think I've heard an RPI album I've enjoyed as much as Pawn Hearts, Godbluff, or Still Life. Per un Amico, Semiramis album, some Banco, etc. comes close but not quite.

I mostly said that to annoy James, but it's essentially true.

Nice, but not that amazing. Very mood-dependant music for me.

Last week, Twisted Sister performed in Brighton. During the show, frontman Dee Snider of Twisted Sister gives a shout-out to the crowd, saying "The balcony is where all the REAL sick motherf**kers are. They can't even stand up by show time. Let's have the house lights up to see them!"

The House lights are raised... and the band and audience find themselves looking back at the disabled section of the crowd, full of fans in wheelchairs.
