Richard Nixon (January 9, 1913 – April 22, 1994), American politician who served as the 37th president of the USA, serving from 1969 until 1974, when he resigned.

Ted Nugent (b. 1948), American singer-songwriter, guitarist and activist.

For the YN, I'd like to see if you or someone else (!) will figure him out. With this hint I'm certain of that.
He's a musician that became internationally known due to a certain succesful album by someone most of us appreciate.

I'll be joining in the game (with the new "O level") later today.

^ So, my hint about the Y.N. I was thinking of wasn't as revealing as I thought. I forgot to mention that the album in question is from the mid-80's. Perhaps NOW the answer is only seven seconds away...?
