Hi, fellas. I have a question regarding Popol Vuh's Aguirre. Did you change the release year on this recently? I could've sworn it said 1975 not long ago. I've done some research, and the only site I could find that has 1974 as release year is the Italian site we have as their website, but I don't think that site is more than just another dedicated fan site. What if they are wrong? All other sites I've found, including discogs, wikipedia, allmusic and rateyourmusic, has 1975 as release year, and that it was released after Das Hohelied Salomos, which is what their PA artist page said as well, until recently, if I'm not mistaken. Are you sure 1974 is correct?

It's rather controversial - you'll find mention to 1974, 1975 and more frequently 1976, who's right ?
The movie is from 1972, the other recordings come from the period 1972-74, the Italian / German fans (which bothered to build a site) list a label ref and date it to 1974. In the face of doubt I've done my best guess based on (supposed) quality and not quantity of sources (errors are viral on the web) but if you feel confident enough, I see no problem you opt for '75. |

Good afternoon,
Not sure if this is the right forum. Anyway, wanted to report that Kyros has been classified as Crossover and I believe this is a mistake. Kyros has a very unique sound, however, it resembles more Neo-Prog than any other group. Definitely not Crossover. Thank you, Ben

^ Hi Ben! Definitely it's not the right thread, we (Errors & Omissions team) can't change genres. It's up to genre teams and admins. You can try to contact them but I can say it's not easy to make them change their mind.
You may review the band's albums instead, perhaps your thoughts will be helpful to those PA visitors who'd like to check Kyros music.

Hello,
KYROS is classified as Crossover. I believe NEO-Prog describes better their style much better. Definitely notCrossover. Thank you, Ben
