My mother-in-law's shop is in Grope Lane - that is the cleaned-up version of the name - you'll have to wiki it to find the orginal medieval name (the picture on Wiki actually show her shop on the right)

Just to plunge the shed into extreme sadness I was playing with some of the icons on the taskbar and found MSI sound manager. At the moment I am listening to Edenbridge in a carpeted hallway.

Sad or what. EmbarrassedSmile

And what about Bell End in Northampton, or t**tt in the Orkneys?

If you're ever in France I recommend a visit to Condom, a lovely town which does a brisk trade in postcards, car stickers and the like to rosbif tourists.

I've got my doubts about how much to contribute
to the already rich among us...'

^ If you're going to get all French about it then I recommend a visit to the Cascade d'Arse in the Pyrenees (C'est un impétueux et vigoureux petit torrent  ... apparently)

That reminds me of the time Manchester City wanted to name one end of their stand after their legendary player Colin Bell, but for some reason decided against it.Shocked
