I used to post like Iván when I first joined.  It was hilarious.
What does that mean?  You debated endlessly, analyzing and challenging every statement that someone you disagreed with made?

Gosh, this is The Power and the Glory.  Good album.

Best GG album. Clap

It's up there, but not my favorite - that goes to Acquiring the Taste.

You know, AtT is probably my #2...it's hard to say.  Three Friends is so wonderful too.

sh*t, I love Gentle Giant.

The Power and the Glory was my first album, and when I first heard "Proclamation" and "So Sincere" in the car, I took the CD out and said, "I will never like this band.  I should find a way to return these CDs."

Nice.  I first heard Octopus, and really enjoyed it...it's really gone downhill some for me since I got it though.

Great song.

And The Power and the Glory is 5 stars IMO

It's a strong 4 for me most of the time - the only one that's always a 5 is Acquiring the Taste, and School Days is usually right up there too.

Well..Im still new to GG so its all AWESOME. Hence why Im waiting for a while, see if I still feel as strongly after a while. But AtT is also pretty win.

Well, the first song I heard was "The Avant and Panurge" on the computer about 8 years ago.  I thought it was retarded and didn't give Gentle Giant another thought until about three years later.

Yeah, been a slow long road from straight metal head to classic prog rock. Also keep in mind I feel way behind in my musical expansion for a while Cry

I think that was my first song by GG as well, though it was only something like 1-2 years ago.  Back when I just lurked instead of actually posting here. LOL  After that one I listened to Knots and knew I needed to check the band out a bit more.
