Yes. It’s not Elvis Costello. Later than 1982. Edited by refugee - November 01 2012 at 03:13 |

Yup. Sorry that I mislead you; UN’s report from 2011 includes UK and Ireland in Northern Europe.

Not at all, UK is absolutely Western Europe. Are yo absolutely sure the band is not on PA? I keep coming back to Talk Talk as being the only possible answer.
Anyway, is the first letter of the band A-M? |

I’ve checked and double checked, they’re not here.
Not A-M. A hint to another song by the same band: Not only the dark side. |

Does the band start with a letter from T-Z?
(congratulation, by the way, on the hardest song choice ever! ) |

Yes, T-Z.
I had no idea it would be this hard. Maybe they’re more popular in Norway than elsewhere. |

Okay, so we have a British, quasi-New Wave band with a male singer from the eighties that uses a bunch of weird instruments, but not synths whose name starts with a letter from T-Z.
Do they have more than four studio albums? Edited by thellama73 - November 01 2012 at 08:32 |

I've been through every artist on the wikipedia new wave artists page, and haven't found one that fits, so I will assume that wikipedia is leaving out some key information.
Is it XTC? |
