Blackjazz isn't on Spotify.  I was going to suggest one of the tracks from the album for tonight's Metal Night.

I had to add SoaD's Spiders instead... grrr.

That's funny.  It does sound like some sort of lubricant or something.

Oh, yeah LOL Well, I think my cats aren't twins, but they're the same cat dressed differently. Actually, it might be the same cat (& same designer) from Raff's sig.

The phrase "Go Away" is taking over the site... some people is a little heavy when refering to other people... Dead

What is "Boards of Canada?"

Only one of the greatest bands of all time.

This is very nice indeed, but it sounds just like many other hundreds of excellent techno bands.

The sock is on his way, be prepared to die.

I can understand that. I'd say though that they were one of the first with a sound like that, and that there are many bands out there now who are shamelessly showing their influences from BoC, Aphex Twin, and some other pioneering artists.

I still think if you listen to a whole album of BoC though that it has a unique feel to it that other electronic artists can't match; that's the extra appeal to me.

I've not heard it in ages either.  I have three of their albums.

You need to give Débile Menthol a listen.  They have their moments.  They also have made some terrible music. LOL
