I feel completely brain dead and I hate it.

I have no motivation to do anything yet I want to do something.  All the sort of stuff I usually do isn't very exciting to me right now either.

So I am at a loss.

I'm supposed to be going out later but at the moment don't feel like it.  I'll see how I feel later I guess.

I know the feeling.

I just really want to sleep right now.

Guess I'll get some more coffee.

Same here.
It's the finest pop song ever written! :P I never saw Night at the Roxbury but that's why the internet is annoying about it.

I normally hate most everything mainstream, but Haddaway touches the soul...And who couldn't watch that video forever? I've seen it at least five times and it's still funny, and it still doesn't make a damn bit of sense.

Oh, I know what you're talking about now.  I don't know why anyone would want to hear that more than 0 times in a row.

I've had it for the past few days.

My ears are not right, so music doesn't even work for me.

Everything I want to do in my life I'm mediocre at.  How annoying is that?

And, even though I like free jazz as much as you do, I don't know why anyone would want to listen to Stump, so I guess we're even. :P

James, listen to What is Love, it soothes the spirit. Or the Residents version works too.

I saw that thread about Stump but was too lazy to check it out.
I need a hell of a lot more free jazz.

I have heard a Haddaway song before... perhaps it's the same one.

It was horrid.

I haven't been in a mood to listen to Dream Theater in a long, long time.

Although when I first joined here that's all I listened to.  Embarrassed

Yeah, me too. Have you heard Peter Brotzmann and Last Exit? He is brutal. Not quite as awesome as Albert Ayler, but who can top him?

Brotzmann "f**k de Boere" is probably my next emusic download.  I'll be sure to check out those links as well, thanks.

edit:  Christ, this is brutal!

I took quite a long break from them, but I'm just recently getting back into them. I watched part of my Score DVD yesterday afternoon... Wow.

Prompted me to listen to Awake yesterday and now I'm doing Octavarium. Thumbs Up

Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence and Octavarium are their two best songs ever and two of my favorite epics. And, of course, the entirety of SFAM. Big smile

There's also this pianist named Brad Mehldau, want to get some of his recordings.

He's not free jazz or anything, I just happened to see him on TV a week or two ago and he was crazy.

f**k de Boere is a good one. That was the first jazz album I ever bought. LOL Last Exit's s/t is also on eMusic, and it's quite good. I personally think they should be included, since they rock as hard as John Zorn, and The Flying Luttenbachers are clearly just them, but faster and not as good; but nobody listens to me when I bring them up in the RIO Room.
