Also, who the f**k here has not listened to new echolyn?  Get off your lazy ass and do so.

It's on bandcamp now.  All of it.  Go.  Devour.  Now.

And vote in my poll pretty please.

Peace be upon you.

I listened to Mei today for the first time, and, even though I remember nothing from it, I know I'll enjoy repeated listens. I didn't want their new one to be my first exposure to the band, since you have been recommending Mei for some time. Soon, though, I will be getting Echolyn's new album.

And somewhat ironically, I think the latest is the one I would recommend as the first album one should hear.

Maybe making it an eponymous album makes sense then.

Well, then that's more reason to check it out sooner than later.

I imagine making a video to fit music is pretty hard, but you did a good job here with a simple handheld thing and some creative editing and shooting.  The song was ok too.

I got a kick out of reading some of my old reviews from 2005. What's funny is that on the forums, it says I joined November 19, 2005, yet these reviews precede that date.

Thanks Rob!

I'm going to have to get my Gladiators going again, but tonight's not the night.  Just don't have the strength right now. Sleepy

When my dad was my age, I was getting ready to go to college, so I can definitely believe that.

And thanks! Approve

Thx!

A little of both, but I could have used a little more.  Played some games in the basement with my daughter and got to hear some recent acquisitions on the big stereo (pretty much used about once a week these days):

PFM - Jet Lag

Cheer-Accident - What Sequel?  (very nice album.  I think I'm getting more for my birthday, because my wife has access to my Amazon wish list - it just hasn't arrived yet.

PFM - Per Un Amico
