Pretty silly decision there IMO. Not that I was looking forward to watching it of course. Is it at least nationally televised being so much earlier than the rest of the games?

Yeah, and I'll be sleeping...

I'll probably wake up and watch the end of it, and then if my gut is correct, I'll turn it off in disgust of us getting a loss in a very winnable game.  Again, my inner-pessimist/realist coming out from years of torment.

Well SD held tough at first, but that first pick honestly killed the game. Total swing for Denver.

Denver's Defense may not be elite, and it's not, but really looking much better. Gunna be an upset if they don't go to the SB.

Yeah you morbidly depressed Lions fansLOL Gotta say, it's been a bit ugly but this winning Calvn really is a good thing.
Though I keep hearing all these rumors about him being traded?? Look just not the NFC East please! (unless by magic the Giants get him of course).

Should be interesting against Atlanta. We hear about the D line but you guys have some quality players on defense in other spots as well. Falcons are not too great, esp protecting Ryan, should be quite a matchup.

Yawn, yes we know lol

Well I forgot about this game and missed 58 minutes, BUT at least I caught the exciting part haha
Saw Atlanta (talk about a team who's fallen apart) being moronic and passing the ball with game on the line and not running...and Stafford is driving down the field with only a FG needed.
Aaaand Atlanta got a penalty making the FG a bit easier.

LOL after negating that gift with a delay of game...Detroit wins!

I tell ya ugly is well ugly, but one I am used to ugly winsLOLCry and two there is something to be said about winning ugly. And without Megatron mind you.

Hoping Arizona can beat Philly and by miracle Washington can top Dallas....so the Giants can at least have some positive news this bye week. Also hope their injuries can heal up a bit, DRC and one of our D tackles were hurt and both have been very important players.

Another issue of Giants bye week, I have to watch the Jets.
OH GOD, I feel bad for their fans, never have I seen so many excruciating games.

Buffalo has a great pass rush but still, Geno and Vick are a combined 12 of 32 for 108 yards, 0 TDs 4 picks and 2 fumblesDead. Geno got off to a brilliant 2 of 8 and 3 picks, one where he threw a bullet to Harvin who slipped and was on the ground, picked easily by the cornerLOL

Unbelievable is the only word I can use to describe the second half of that Lions/Falcons game.  And a FG won the game for us!  The irony...

You guys got Prater right? He was pretty damn f**kin good lol

Atlanta sucks, they have all kinds of trouble.

WOW that Eagles/Cards game was AWESOME. I love a defensive struggle, tight all game, down to the final second as close as you can get but Philly loses :D thank god. What a game though.  Praying somehow Dallas loses to the Deadskins and this weekend will be pretty good!

Arizona may be legit after all, that secondary is damn good and they do a good job blitzing. With Campbell back that pass rush might get even better. Palmer has made a true comeback, but I still hate FolesLOL that guy is good. Scary player.

Oh and Luck almost made an epic comeback, got to 42-34 and had the ball, then safety? Oi. Looks like Ben had a Madden game though...Indy's D is open to being passed on. Hope Giants can manage!

Yeah, we picked up Prater a couple of weeks ago.  He started off just as bad as the rest, but he's picked it up.  Although, had they gotten that first snap off sooner, he would've missed.

Yeah I gotta be honest, sounds like being a ridiculous Lions fan LOL I know it's against your DNA to have faith, but he was one of the better kickers in the NFL.
Had to check his stats...he missed 2 FGs in that game, but they were in the 40 and 50 yd range, no shame plus he did hit one from 52... settle your Lion nervesLOL

I hope this game ends up being a shootout. Rodgers is my fantasy QB and he tends to be too dominant. Racks up all the stats than they cool him off. I need and want some 400 yd 5 TD sh*t!

Tally it as another one you would have lost last year.

Yeah exactly, everyone talked about the lack of maturity and "it" with the Lions, but this is how good teams need to be able to win. And really, without Johnson to boot...imagine when he is back.

Well, my fantasy game is done with Rodgers. Ever since he pulled that hammy has looked totally different. Hope he's not hurt too badly, but if he is a bit impacted...good news for our Lions fans!

Atlanta pretty much did everything that the Lions would normally do to hand the Lions the game at the end.  Atlanta trying to run out the clock and the Lions with no timeouts left, Atlanta goes into the prevent offense, gets called for a penalty that stops the clock and then throws an incomplete pass to stop the clock.  An incomplete pass that should have been caught but hit the receiver in the hip and fell harmlessly to the ground.  They then proceed to punt the ball to the Lions 8 yard line and give up a 40-yard pass on the first play.  And then with the Lions at 3rd down the Falcons proceed to commit a penalty which gives the Lions a first down and allow them to run down the clock and gain a few extra yards for the field goal.  The irony being that the Lions shoot themselves in the foot by getting a delay of game penalty, but it is the best thing that could have happened to them because Prater missed the field goal attempt.  Rather than being the team penalized, they get a 2nd shot and he makes the second, now longer, field goal attempt.
The other funny thing is that previously with the two-point conversion, Atlanta should have been called for a holding penalty on the pass.  If the penalty is called, maybe the Lions tie the game.  If the Lions do tie the game, Atlanta is no longer in the prevent offense.  They are trying to score at the end to win the game.  Great for us Lions' fans, but so unusual to be rooting for the team that wins in this fashion, instead of the team that loses in this fashion.

What Steeler team was that!?!?  Looks like the Dr. Jekyll team showed up Sunday instead of the usual Mr. Hyde Steelers of late.
Looks like we will need a Rothlesburger "Madden" video game every week as the defense is painful to watch anymore...  Maybe it was those terrible rugby uniforms that caused them to play well Tongue

I don't know how the Lions have done it, but they are 6-2.  Somehow they are pulling it out in the end.
Poor Jets fans, did not see the game but it sounded bad.

I still expect some kind of a let down.  I remember back in 2007, they were 6-2 after the first half of the season, and then proceeded to lose 7 of the last 8 games and missed the playoffs.  Nothing is safe when it comes to the Lions.  I'm enjoying it right now, but there's still this looming fear of more disappointment.

Gotta love division games. This has been shockingly tight and somehow the deadskins are leading!

Looks like Romo is injured too

Go Redskins!!  If only because Cowboys fans have gotten really annoying this year. LOL

LOLLOLLOLLOLLOL

I wonder what Cowboys fans will say after this one?  They've been a little more vocal this year.

A lot of excitement this weekend, unless you're a Jets fan...

But I'm glad the Bengals pulled out the win over the Ravens. They needed it bad.
