I met him once...he's lucky to be alive. 
After a short stint as a street magician at Venice beach,he began to mentally break down.
He sometimes performed naked and more than once jumped off the pier screaming:
"Frodo! NO! Don't! Gollum is behind YOU!"
After the a few episodes of this, he was arrested and put into a mental institution. He was becoming a nuisance and because he never showered, or had any sense of hygiene he was becoming a health hazard. The last time I saw him he was bald, pale looking like a Holocaust victim and  whispering to himself
"I am the Queen of Banthor, they will never take me alive"

Life isn't easy for everyone.
