Haha, I have plenty of bands like that already. Music is slowly becoming a financial problem but who cares. They're connected to Kayo Dot right?

This was Toby Driver's band before Kayo Dot, and when motW disbanded half of the members went on to work with Toby on Choirs.

Ahh. Yeah I liked Choirs but other than the Manifold Curiosity it never really took for me. I'll give it another shot sometime.

Choirs was a big grower for me, took at least seven or eight listens.

Moon was excellent, except the twist was a bit retarded.

I should go to bed, I didn't do any work today. But this is just the best flash game ever.

I loved the atmosphere when he was just alone doing his job, but I was mentally poking holes in every aspect of why that plan was obviously a horrible idea and it completely ruined it. Going down the list of technical issues would be boring, but the most important hole is that the computer gave him the password and started cooperating for no reason at all. And why would they even have had the real phone number on file at the base? Oh wait I'm getting Plinkett-y here I'll rein in it. I guess that technically makes just as much sense as an AI killing everybody for no reason at all, but a suddenly helpful robot is far less satisfying than a mysterious, implacable opponent.

Agreed on the Moon comments. It had holes, I just enjoyed it for the good writing the good directing, and as said, the atmosphere to the movie was just done perfectly.

I complained that nothing was happening in 2001 so I turned it off (part of that is that while I like classical music, it can't carry a whole scene for me, much less music I've already heard eight million times), but I probably would have liked Moon more if nothing had happened. Maybe he has a normal nervous breakdown towards the end and dies so there's some resolution and it doesn't have to be happy.

I liked 2001 for the (incredibly?) slow pace, although I have to really want to watch it to enjoy it.

I didn't even finish 2001. After an hour and a half, the high point of the movie seemed to have been the gorillas beating the crap out of eachother. Very very boring.
