Definately!

Onion bahjees and various dips are my favourite entendres in a Himylayan restaurant.

Tiffin anyone?

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

Not sure what the food did with you guys, but apparently it was g(h)as(t/s)(l)y enough to keep everyone out of The Shed for two days. The air's cleared up now, so don't feel troubled...

^^well, we were kind of hoping that now you've been 'relieved' of your Admin duties, that you'd 'pass' a little more time in the Shed yourself, Angelo...Big smile

Symphony X... I always get them mixed up (name wise) with King's Ex, you know, with long armed monkey Doug Pinnick on bass...

And I'll be here more often, Jared.

Chris - how dare you mis-quote a carry on film in The Shed

The Khasi of Kalabar: May the benevolence of the god Shivoo bring blessings on your house.

Sir Sidney Ruff-Diamond: And on yours.

The Khasi of Kalabar: And may his wisdom bring success in all your undertakings.

Sir Sidney Ruff-Diamond: And in yours.

The Khasi of Kalabar: And may his radiance light up your life.

Sir Sidney Ruff-Diamond: And up yours

No Tiffin for you today.

Sorry to go ever-so-slightly political but I just giggled a lot when Jeremy Paxman almost made George Osborne cry. LOL

Yes it is childish but it's still amusing.

And to get back on theme: I watched Carry on Cowboy yesterday.

^ the Carry On films remain one of the most enduring aspects of the 60's/70'S - they just couldn't make films like this any more, as they are racist sexist, ageist, etc...but most of all FUNNY!!  LOL

comedy  films just aren't funny anymore - your thoughts...? Confused

Y'know, Steve, I think I'd have to agree with you there - it's so rare now that a new film will make me laugh out loud, there's too much reliance on formulaic box office rubbish, all of which will feature Jim Carrey (you're not 12 years old!), Eddie Murphy (somebody tell him to stop embarrassing himself - please!) or some other studio "codedy" stalwart.

There have been a couple of exceptions, though, but not many - - quite a few years ago, but "Dogma" was very good (inspired, in fact), as was... eeerm... hmmmm...

OK, the Carry On series had a few stinkers, but seen overall

Coincidentally reading through my Carry-On Companion on Sunday I found the censors threatened to pull an entire scene from 'Up The Khyber' due to what they considered a gratuitous use of the F-Word - the scene had to be re-shot with Bernard Bresslaw this time putting in a longer pause between the words 'Fakir' and 'Off'

They don't appear to have caught the line from 'Don't Lose Your Head' when Kenneth Williams's character sneeringly refers to "My brother, the Count" - OK he does say 'count', but only just...

Happy birthday from me as well - I remember when I was but a lad of 43, way back in 2005.

Looking for that special gift for the man who has everything? - try this from the Quintessentially Jaguar newsletter:

Quote ESCAPE: Arctic Warfare Training, Czech Republic

A sniper is a soldier who specialises in engaging targets from long distances, usually from a concealed location. They are also experts in covert surveillance, reconnaissance and information gathering as a vital part of intelligence operations.

Join Quintessentially Escape on Saturday 31st January in the Czech Republic where you will be taught the art of the sniper by an expert team of British and Czech Special Forces. After meeting at a London airport you will fly to Prague and then be transferred to a private military base in the heart of the Czech countryside.

Once there you will be taught from the same manual as some of the world's most elite sniper teams, such as the British Royal Marine Commandos and United Kingdom Special Forces. You will use the Dragunov sniper rifle, and secondary weapon systems including the AR15 assault rifle and 9mm pistols. You will engage realistic targets at ranges from as far as 700 metres and as close as 1 metre (ambush tactics).
You will be taught how to make your very own Arctic Ghillie Suit (the sniper's suit) that you will get to keep after using it in an operational task. You will also learn the "7 pillars of sniping". These are the seven skills which all snipers must master to the highest level - sniper knowledge, concealment, navigation, hide creation, observation, the stalk and, finally, the shot.

Price: GBP 1,050 per person.
