Not everybody wants to work for profit.
I'll put it this way: you have a right to get money from your discoveries to repay the equipment and time investment, but you also have a moral duty to save as many lives as possible.

But how long can the person afford to keep shelling out $1500 per person? Because I'm assuming that in this example, the person doesn't have an unlimited supply of money.

Not to mention the costs of travel, labor, etc etc.

Oh come now, Henry.  If you really believed that you wouldn't have your ass parked in front of a computer most of the day.

James, This sounds like something that you would enjoy:

They started off as punk-jazz or hardcore with horns but became increasingly insane/avant garde. I would've thought that monumental albums such as Hephaestus, Meditavolutions and Firon would have made them a shoo-in for a site like this.
If you haven't heard them (and that's probably most of you) do try to find one of the records I just mentioned. I daren't dare try to actually describe the sound they make because first nothing can prepare you for the nightmarish squonking and secondly I think having no idea what's about to happen is part of the fun of listening to Iceburn. It's almost like a good horror movie- it's not enjoyable per se but a morbid curiosity grips you and you have to see what on earth they'll do next even as part of you prays to go deaf.

Same way I passed 1000 recently.

Years.

What were you talking about earlier, btw? I can't see anything in your playlist that would intrigue me.

It was Esbjorn Svensson Trio and Kraftwerk; that's why I said you'd be conflicted. LOL

I just started Schulze's Mirage though, which is absolute genius. I really need to listen to him more.

By refreshing my ratings on RYM, it turns out I only rated 13 albums with 5 stars. Shocked
