^^ it would certainly make for an effective muscle relaxant...LOL
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Here's hoping we all had a good Christmas

Most of mine was spent digesting unfeasibly large amounts of food, courtesy of my mother (thanks mum), who unfortunately also insisted on watching the worst possible televisual offerings... Dancing On Ice Christmas Special... Coronation Street... Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special

Mind you, we did manage to get her to watch Curse Of The Were-Rabbit, and A Matter Of Loaf & Death

That's about the best New Year wish I've seen, Jared, nice one

^^pleased you had a good one, Jim...Thumbs Up

watched very little TV this time around, but have immersed myself in lots and lots of music (mostly of the classical variety i'm afraid Embarrassed, although the new Pendies album has also had quite a bit of airplay...Clap)

and all I can say is, we should all be so proud that the Shed is (albeit loosely) connected socially with a ROCK GOD!!!!ApproveClap

Nice one, Nick, Rach & Boys!!

Big smile

I was very pleasantly surprised by Pure - have to admit wasn't too keen on Believe, but the new 'un's a stonking good album; absolute blinder.

I agree, you can't leave us hanging on a comment like that, then bugger off back over the Atlantic without expanding on it

I still haven't finished all the brussels sprouts & chestnuts yet. So far as the meat side's concerned, the turkey & duck have gone & just down to the last third of a boiled gammon now.

Luvverly with mashed potatoes, baked beans & various pickled vegetables

...you may want to open the window, Jared...

^^...LOL

when you depart this life, will you be donating your alimentary canal to science, by any chance?

thereby, thousands of school children might look on in awe at your knackered little villi through a specimen jar, and be frightened into adopting a healthy diet with a regular 'detox'?...Wink

I saw the programme where he demonstrated those - both do look good, especially the jerk ham (about 6/8 habaneros in the marinade wasn't it?? )

Anyway, apropos of absolutely nothing, found this classic you-tube clip from 1968 of everybody's favorite vegetarian liberal feminist animal rights campaigner:

Amboy Dukes - Flight Of The Byrd (1968)

Aaaw - don't he look young & cute...?

Bless'im - one of the great rock guitarists... just a bit of a these days

Ha ha. I saw Mr Nugent at Hammy Odeon once, it was probably the loudest gig I've ever been to. My mate and I had to shut ourselves in the toilet cubicles. He did this "trick" where he tried to shatter a glass ball with feedback (which didn't work but nearly shattered our Censored eardrums).
