Technically you have enough reviews and they're good, Anthony, but I think the Admins would ask you to bring some diversity and move towards lesser known bands and albums (and I agree with that).

Waitaminute, I've done this! Angry

Must be my earlier crap-views.

My early reviews were 100% crap. My first few were something like 101 words, and me saying "I like this album a lot because it's really good and has some nice harmonies" and I rambled for a paragraph then ended it. I had to change a lot of those before I was promoted.
Although I may have had a little shoe-in with my review of Forbidden Drama (thanks Alex) Wink

Hey he promised me a job for that too! He said he even liked my review! Is there something I'm missing? Tongue

LOL I also am a slave to the Suggest new artist thread. Wink I'm not complaining, I love discovering all those tiny little bands.
Although I'm nervous that my review quality is deteriorating. Hopefully I become a collab before I revert to my old reviewing style of "This is a good album. That is all."

I don't think they've been suggested, it would be worth trying though.

I disagree with that. When I review an album I like, I'm able to expound more on it's greatness. I feel bad for the artist when I sh*t on albums LOL

Alex, any job openings on the post rock team? Dat da hipsterist team der is. :D

Don't think so, and if there's going to be some change, it's going to involve experienced collabs, as the Admins don't really trust the post-1989-prog areas of PA and see them as potential weak points to inside jobs of ruining the site.

Back when I was giving bad reviews to the early Phrozenlight albums, the artist himself sent me a PM thanking me for the attention.

I felt really bad.

Andy, I have to say, the "Thanks, we'll check it" posts are rather useless. Perhaps don't post until after you've checked it? :P

Actually there are many people who expect a reply in the first two hours. I'd tell them to f**k off if I weren't a nice guy. LOL

LOL That's how I feel. Tonight I'm going to try to review an album an artist gave me for free to review (normally it's a paid-for album).... and I hate it.
