Not related to social science but it's still a science. I guess you could say that it's related to natural science, i.e. how things work in nature, but this one is more specific than that.

You actually seem to be more right than I am. I think of those two being the only branches, since that's the way (American at least) universities divide up their course credits: natural science, social science and humanities.
