No teams wouldn't but its more a systemic thing. Like from early on (maybe HS/middle school) they just tend to them to positions. And I don't think its done on purpose.

Yeah, leave it to the Pats to try the fake spike. Remember that drop kick they did years ago?

No I don't actually. What season was that?

Ugh so much for Miami winning.

2006. Done by Doug Flutie.
It was the first drop kick done in the NFL since 1941.

And plenty of time. If the Phins play the same way they can easily win this game still.
Just put on a TD! Long as they don't let the Pats offense get out of hand...

OK, now it's over LOLDisapprove

2 blocked kicks, a return TD.
Phins must be trying to rival the Giants for worst special teams!

Also that missed block that allowed Henne to get sacked. That is what put the game away...

To be fair the offense wasn't very spectacular. Tongue
Managed to scrap out just enough.

Defense and special teams were good though.
Gotta win 2 of the 3.

And I gotta give that bum Bill credit...he keeps the team motivated. I love how many times the commentators said "playing with a chip on their shoulder"
3 SB's, 100 wins for Brady how on Earth he can keep Brady playing with a chip is beyond me.

I think Bill has little to do with it.

They won a Super Bowl doing that....but yes, with Faulk out I have little hope for any extended success for the Pats this year.  They've also got too many raw recruits in their secondary.

Wow...are the Pats that good? I watched the 1Q and then had to leave the house...Was it a Dolphins debacle or did they just get whipped?

Sort of a comedy of errors on the Dolphins end in the 2nd half - kickoff return for TD, blocked FG return for TD, etc.

Pretty much a debacle, of royal proportions.

And yeah Pat, there are a lot of young players on defense. Once they develop, D should be tough again.

I read this earlier and while I don't usually agree with Whitlock I think he's got it right here.

I know Bellicheck has no problem cutting people and really doesn't care....but I really don't get it.
Moss is whining yeah but he's still good and as their only real receiver (opposed to all those 5'4" 160 lb guys that are free to run around due to Moss' coverage and spread offense) but I digress.
This makes no sense to me but whatever.

Bellicheck is a tryanical bum a****le anyway so I can't say I'd be upset if this worked out negatively LOL

I'd agree about the Vikings being desperate. Especially now that it seems maybe Favre's body has caught up to his mind, they need any help possible.

Now this is the G men!
Finally got their act together I hope.

Arian Foster has been one of the best RBs and he's been shut down. Obviously Schaub is no joke but he's also been fairly ineffective. Giants D is playing damn well.
Running game seems better and Hakeem Nicks is beast!

Yeah the Rams may have Bradford (and Steven Jackson) but not much of anything else LOL

Great Giants win
Shame the Skins won but at least it appears the Cowboys are yet again riding the fail train.
LOL like they ever do anything else
