que?

They were finally cast out of the battle of the bands game, it was a hard fight but a righteous one.

though my shield is broken and my sword dull, but the taste of Labrie's blood is delicious.

But... Dramatic Turn was good.

And Metropolis Part 2 is great (minus the ballads awful geez)

And their first 2 CDs are great (again the ballads are kinda lame)

Just hate James LaBrie. SO much. Dang it. I would rather listen to Animals as Leaders or TRAM because its even more w**kery minus the crappy vocalist.

I agree, Metropolis Part 2 was enjoyable except the ballads- and all DT ballads are god awful. Also "the Answer Lies Within" is pretty much the worst song in history. Labrie is annoying, and frankly so is Portnoy. Myung is a good bassist though...

Not entirely true.  Jordan Rudess is quite bald.

I feel kind of bad for Dream Theater.  There's nothing really wrong with them, except that whenever I listen to them, I get a strong urge to listen to something else.  But I can't find anything negative to say about them.  They're just... good.

Interesting.  I think that their ballads are great.  I think that Labrie's voice sounds best on the ballads.

POrtnoy is annoying as a person but his drumming is friggin great anyway. Man- just listen to Erotomania. DAMN its aamaaaaazing.

But really, I saw a video of Portnoy getting SCHOOLED in a drumoff with the new drummer for Dillenger or something. He no longer has my respect. It was like he wasn't even trying.

I guess they have a lot of fans, and they and their fans should be glad of that. So what if a lot of people don't like them.

the only reason I'm expressing such violent hatred for them is because dtguitarfan's Samaritan policy of "don't trash talk DT because it'll turn off DT fans from the site". A policy which annoys the crap out of me. But I don't hate most of their songs. But some of their ballads really do make me cringe and die.

I love most of their songs. I do. It's just that if they had, let's say, MIKE PATTON on vocals I would listen to them CONSTANTLY.

That was great! Those poems fits perfectly as both The Doors lyrics and children's literatureLOL
