Guzzman, I reckon I only remembered the puzzle because I made it! 
The Zither Player by Dirty Three is spot on! 
Your puzzle would be House Of Ash by The Red Masque 
And finally, a nice and simple one-word band name...

I have no idea who's in the first picture, but the band in question may be Principal Edwards Magic Theatre.
